Eric Bekoe, a former Asante Kotoko forward, has been appointed head coach of Division Two team Nsawkawman FC.

Bekoe 34, who hasn’t formally retired after being out of the game for four years, has taken the role in the hopes of commencing his coaching career.

In the 2007/08 season, the veteran striker was a member of the team that won the Ghana Premier League. With 17 goals, he finished the season as the top scorer in the Ghana Premier League.

Eric Bekoe made his debut for Ghana by coming off the bench in a friendly match against Mexico on March 26, 2008, and played in the first World Cup Qualification games for Ghana against Gabon and Libya.

The former Liberty Professionals striker scored four goals in 12 appearances for Ghana.
