Joshua defeats Pulev with 9th-round KO when the two met on Saturday at the Wembley Arena. Anthony Joshua absolutely dominated Kubrat Pulev, defeating the heavyweight challenger via ninth-round knockout.

According to theScore, the bout was Joshua’s first since he regained his heavyweight titles by defeating Andy Ruiz Jr. in a rematch on Dec. 7, 2019.

theScore also claimed the fight will likely be Joshua’s last before he faces Tyson Fury next year, though a deal has not yet been reached between the two boxers.

Joshua retained his IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBO heavyweight titles after defeating Pulev.

After the fight, Joshua stated he wants to face the best challenger and unify the belts, adding “if that’s Tyson Fury, let it be Tyson Fury.”

Fury currently holds the WBC, The Ring, and lineal heavyweight titles.
