Kamaldeen Sulemana’s goal was not in enough tonight. Despite being in front on two occasions against FC Copenhagen, it was not enough to secure a victory.
Copenhageners equalized both lead goals quickly, and then for the second time in the Championship game we had to settle for 2-2 against the Lions.
A goalless first half was followed by a bang of a start in the last 45 minutes, where Kamaldeen Sulemana quickly sent us in front after a nice sticking in depth from Jacob Steen Christensen. However, the lead lasted no longer than two minutes before the guests’ Jens Stage equalized to 1-1.
Later in the second half, the story repeated itself. First, Martin Frese ended a distinguished attack in an even more distinguished way and thus kicked us in front 2-1, but again it took no more than a few minutes before the same Jens Stage once again equalized to the final result 2-2.
