Hearts of Oak board chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, insists that if the club supporters offer a fraction of what supporters of Asante Kotoko gives to their management, they will be marvelled by the development within the club.

Hearts of Oak finished sixth in the league last season but defended the MTN FA cup by beating Bechem United by 2:1 in Kumasi.

The Phobians have started their preseason as they gear up ahead of the season.

Manaf Umar, Kofi Kordzi, Frederick Ansah and Larry Sumaila have all been shipped out of the club.

Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Eric Ofori Antwi, Junior Kaaba and Zakari Yakubu to augment the squad .

Speaking to the Tatanic supporters group, Togbe Afede has urged he clubs supporters to support the club to help the management to turn around the fortunes of the club.

“If I get a fraction of the support Kotoko gives their management, we will be shocked where Hearts of Oak will be,” he insisted.
